SCOTLAND-INVERNESS

dimanche 26 avril 2015

People there are really sweet and if you want to go and live in the Highlands, well they're waiting for you!! the tour-guide from the Loch Ness tried to sell us an Island, she was really fun, that was a sunny Lucky day, even if I haven't seen Nessie.

I think that Inverness is the most beautiful of the three cities I've visited, it has the charm of small cities and the river Ness and the mountain, god the Snowy mountains!!

Where to go in Inverness: Like I said, Inverness is a really beautiful city, you obviously have to go to the Loch Ness and see Nessie with your own eyes..or not!
If you stay for more than just a few days the best you can do is to go on a hike in the Highlands, the mountains are so gorgeous, especially it the sun. Go to the old part of Inverness, go to the new part, get lost that all you need to see everything you need.

Where to eat in Inverness: well there's no place like a good Scottish restaurant so we went to the Mustard Seed and wow that's amazing, We loved it, it wasn't too expensive £15 for an appetizer, a plate and the desert!! which was delightful.

Where to stay in Inverness: The Tourist Young Hostel, in this entire trip, this was the best hostel we've been in. The most expensive £21 for two nights but the best! People were kind and glad to have us there, the living room always full of people playing something (piano, guitar...) or watching a movie, talking just to chill out with a cup of tea or coffee, same in the kitchen, the dormitory was very quite, very clean, changed every day, the toilet and bathroom right next to your bedroom, to me it's a really great experience.

WISHES

Don't you wish to be more sometimes? To do something important with that life of yours?
Because I do!
I think and over think, trying to find different ways of being worthy of my life.
I've always wanted to be important, to do something important in some ways but I think that's what we're all looking for. In some kind of ways most of us are, by being famous, doctors, scientists, spies, engineers, writers, bloggers, and I could go on and on...
We all wish to find our place in this world.
I just wish I could finally find mine, I only want to do something great, not necessarily by being famous, but by what I do, and if my doing isn't known by the entire world I don't care as long as it changes the way of thinking of some people,  only the gods knows how many people inspired me to think like that! Right now I can't say where my life is headed, I wish it is somewhere I can help our beautiful world and the people that live in it.

What do YOU do? and WHO inspired you?

SCOTLAND - GLASGOW

mardi 14 avril 2015

Not long after I came back from Australia I took a Eurostar ticket to go and see a friend of mine that lives in Nottingham (North of England), then we decided to go on a trip to Scotland, it was completely on a whim, I was kind of sad to be back from Australia and my friend was bored with her studies, so we took three cities to go to, Glasgow, Inverness (that one was because of Outlander (the show)and the Loch Ness, we wanted to see Nessie) then Edinburgh and bus tickets then reservation to youth hostel and we left.

Well, I have to say that Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever visited so far, I already knew I would love the Highlands since I was dreaming of that place since I am a child but seeing it for real that was something else.

Where to go in Glasgow: Glasgow is so full of life, there's music everywhere in the city, especially on Bath Street, the "mall street". You'll find every shop you need over there, even the bus station is nearby. Then, of course, there's Loch Lomond to see in priority, even if it's really cold and you just want to go back to your bed, it's magnificent, and well you can't go back because you go there by bus and the bus isn't coming for the next few hours, but that was pretty fun I have a good memory of that place! You have to visit the university of Glasgow, I want to study there just because I'll feel like Harry Potter!! but my best advice when you travel is just to get lost in the city.

Where to eat in Glasgow: We have tried that little place called Bagelmania and that was so good, okay I took a milkshake with a BLT bagel but that was good and not expensive. We haven't tried much there after you still have the classics, Nancho's, Subway and Mcdonalds.
Where NOT to stay in Glasgow: Well for that one, since I only stayed one night in Glasgow my only advice is not to stay in the Bluesky hotel, the welcoming is quite good but the dormitory are really dirty, it's really cheap, £7.5/night is a really good price but in my opinion it doesn't necessarily mean that the hotel has to be durty or barely decorated, I mean you have 14 beds or more in a room with nothing else and on the other side of the road, meaning you have to cross a road between the living place of the hotel and your bedroom. And the key of your dormitory is the same that the front door meaning everybody has the same key...so why do we even need the key for? well you can say, I didn't like the place, for one night it's not so bad but not for more.

SUNNY DAYS

vendredi 10 avril 2015

It feels so good when the sun comes out, enjoying the first days of sun after a long month of rain and cold, it reminds me of Australia, the happiness of enjoying the moment.
Just knowing that I was in a place that some people think unreachable and I did it, I was there!
well, that's what I love about sunny days, they only remind you the good moments of your life, not the bad stuff, just the happy feeling of doing what you want, when you want, because you can and because you are strong enough to make it happen.
In those moments I just feel like everything in my future, in my life is going to be okay, that every wish that I've ever made, every believes that I have are going to come true!!
That's what sunny days do to me, what about you? what do you feel when the sunny days comes out?

CINDERELLA

jeudi 2 avril 2015

I went to the cinema to Watch the new Cinderella movie...My god just for the prince I am going to believe in magic and be kind and brave!!!
I'm in love with Richard Madden since Game of Thrones, but his eyes in Cinderella, they just made me dream the entire movie! I don't even mention his gorgeous accent, don't know about you but I'm Under his charm. And about Cinderella well I really want her dress. Lily James is beautiful but I can't say I'm a fan, those who watched Downton Abbey might say otherwise, I don't know I don't Watch the show.
Well, Back to Cinderella, I liked the movie, I laughed a lot, some replicas were amazing!
I'm a child in the heart and Disney movies makes me dream.
Have you watched the movie? What do you think of it?

Yet I wasn't really a fan of the Disney Cinderella, I'm more of a Lion king or Mulan or even The Little Mermaid fan, I was never a princess admirer, I prefer the rebel ones!!
What's your favorite Disney?

A Light in a Flash

It's when we grow old that we realize...everything is loosing meaning.
When we're kids, the world is logical, simple and sincere. While growing up we see all the ugliness and the lies, some people keeps their kid's soul and they are called naive, what's naive about seeing the good in people and to believe that our world isn't lost?
We need people like them because if they don't believe in us anymore, we have nobody left to think that we worth better than what we are actually...ugly and liars.
